Gurpartap represents private equity funds, private and public companies, and startups. His practice focuses on a variety of corporate matters including mergers, acquisition, complex commercial transactions, entity formation, reorganization, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff as an associate, he was a summer associate at the firm’s New York office.
Client Work
- Represented Empresas Sutil S.A., a leading Chilean agricultural business group, in the complete acquisition of California-based Sunshine Raisin Corporation (National Raisin Company), a company renowned as one of the top processors in the United States for premium quality dried fruits and dried fruit-based ingredients.
- Represented the trustee, administrative agent and collateral agent in connection with a series of cross-border restructuring transactions for a leading provider of mobile phone networks and home entertainment services, aggregating $4.4 billion.
Pro Bono
Gurpartap has an active pro bono practice, where he assists non-profit organizations with various corporate matters, and individuals with asylum and other immigration issues.
During law school, Gurpartap was a NY Pro Bono Scholar, and worked with Domestic Violence Unit at the New York Legal Assistance Group.
