Jared Ahmed

Jared is passionate about complex disputes, government investigations, and data privacy.  Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Jared clerked at the D.C. Office of Administrative Hearings.  Jared previously served as a summer associate at ArentFox Schiff.

Jared has an extensive public service background.  While in law school, Jared worked at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California as a law clerk.  He also served as a legal intern for Hon. Beryl Howell of the U.S. District Court of the District of Columbia. Jared also brings legislative insight from his experience clerking at the U.S. Senate Committee on the Judiciary for Senator Christopher Coons.  As a law student, Jared was a member of the Federal Circuit Bar Journal. Prior to law school, Jared managed an emergency operations center which responded to threats nationwide.  He was enlisted in the U.S. Army as a combat engineer and a psychological operations specialist.  Jared currently serves at the rank of Captain in the California National Guard.

Jared maintains his knowledge about data privacy and cybersecurity programs.  He has earned two certifications through the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) - the Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) designations.
