Marlo is a registered patent agent who has been admitted to practice before the US Patent and Trademark Office since 2005. She is highly experienced in drafting and filing mechanical and life sciences patent applications for both domestic and foreign filing. Marlo’s patent practice particularly focuses on the medical industry, including medical devices (both mechanical and software-enabled), catheters, consumer devices, and fitness equipment. She also assesses invention disclosures, prepares freedom-to­-operate and patentability opinions, and advises and educates clients regarding patent-related issues.

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Marlo was a patent agent with a mid-sized law firm in Boston, MA.

Life Beyond the Law

Outside of work, Marlo is active in raising awareness and research funds for Tuberous Sclerosis Complex, a rare neurological disorder that has profoundly affected her family. In doing that, she has met with US senators and representatives to advocate for rare disease research.
