With a background in environmental science and public policy analysis, Meera approaches her clients’ legal needs with a scientific and rational lens.
Meera assists clients with permitting needs for energy projects and counseling on complex questions under federal and state environmental laws, including the Clean Water Act, the Clean Air Act, CERCLA, RCRA, and state analogues. She has experience drafting memoranda, complaints, motions, discovery requests, and briefs in both litigation and administrative contexts.
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Meera worked as a legal intern for several environmental organizations such as the Environmental Law and Policy Center and the Natural Resources Defense Council. She was also heavily involved with pro bono work through the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic during law school. Prior to law school, Meera interned for the Environmental Protection Agency, Earthjustice, and Congressman David Scott.
