Joshua helps health care clients efficiently resolve their regulatory, business, and litigation needs. He has advised and defended a range of industry stakeholders, including hospitals and health systems, ambulatory surgical centers, laboratories, behavioral health providers, and local health plans.
Joshua regularly works on medical staff matters that involve credentialing, investigations, corrective actions, professional reporting, information sharing, bylaws revisions, and accreditation requirements. He has defended clients at administrative hearings, including peer review hearings and residency program appeals, and represented clients in civil suits, writ petitions, and appellate cases.
Joshua is also experienced in addressing health care clients’ business and compliance needs related to data privacy, state licensure, fraud and abuse, Medicare and Medicaid requirements, corporate practice of medicine, material transaction notices, EMTALA, and the 340B program.

Joshua is a member of the American Health Law Association, the California Society of Healthcare Attorneys, and the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s Healthcare Law Section.
