Paul Choi

Paul focuses on litigating complex intellectual property disputes in district courts and administrative agencies. He counsels clients through all phases of litigation, including pre-filing investigation, pleadings, fact and expert discovery, motions practice, and trial. Paul’s litigation experience spans a broad range of technologies, including wireless communications, cloud services, and networking products.
While in law school, Paul interned at the US International Trade Commission, where he supported staff attorneys at the Office of Unfair Import Investigations in Section 337 patent disputes. He was also a staff editor for the AIPLA Quarterly Journal.
Previous Work
Before transitioning to law, Paul spent several years managing portfolios at a real estate investment firm in Seoul, Korea. Additionally, Paul has experience in large-scale commercial manufacturing from his work at a global biotechnology firm. His background in both economic and technical areas highlight his ability to guide clients through complex intellectual property issues.
Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Paul was an Associate at a boutique law firm specializing in patent litigation, where he was part of two trial teams handling high-tech patent disputes at district courts.
