Sabrina focuses her practice on complex civil litigation, investigations, and enforcement matters.

Sabrina has substantial experience supporting clients at all stages of litigation, from advising on pre-litigation strategy to substantive motion practice through briefing and arguing final appeal. She also has experience successfully mediating claims and negotiating settlements. Sabrina has led high-stakes investigations and assisted individuals, companies, and financial institutions in navigating enforcement action by the SEC, CFTC, and US Attorney’s Offices.

Prior to joining ArentFox Schiff, Sabrina was a litigation associate in the New York City office of a large international law firm. She previously clerked for the Honorable Joseph F. Bianco of the US Court of Appeals, Second Circuit. In law school, Sabrina was a James Kent Scholar and Harlan Fiske Stone Scholar, co-president of the Columbia Law Women’s Association, and Notes Editor of the Columbia Journal of Law and Social Problems.

Client Work

Sabrina’s representative matters include:

  • Argued federal and state claims before the New York Court of Appeals in a criminal appeal.
  • Won affirmance of a summary judgment motion in the US Court of Appeals, Second Circuit in a securities class action on behalf of a global medical manufacturer and several of its officers.
  • Led an internal investigation into claims of securities law violations for a biotech company, including successfully advocating against additional subsequent regulatory action by the SEC.
  • Achieved favorable settlement in a securities class action brought in the Northern District of California against an EV company and its former directors and officers.
  • Prepared insurance company for trial in the New York Supreme Court, Commercial Division against the administrator of a major investment bank.
  • Advised a shipping carrier in responding to the DOJ in a False Claims Act investigation.
  • Defended the majority shareholder of a large media company in a high-profile M&A litigation in the Delaware Court of Chancery.
  • Directed discovery in Federal Tort Claims Act Case brought against the Department of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement in the Southern District of New York.
  • Drafted 440 motion for post-conviction relief for criminal defendant in Bronx County Criminal Court.
