The October roundup included a court ruling declining to require processed meat to be listed as a carcinogen, the Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment’s (OEHHA) adoption of no significant risk levels for airborne titanium dioxide, an extended public comment period on the proposed drinking water PHG for 1,4-dioxane, ongoing engagement with California Tribes on climate impact indicators, and initiation of PHG development for PFHxS and arsenic in drinking water.

OEHHA has selected p,p’-Bisphenol chemicals for the Developmental and Reproductive Toxicant Identification Committee’s review for possible listing under Proposition 65 as causing reproductive toxicity. p,p’-Bisphenol chemicals include p,p’-Bisphenols, and ethers and esters of p,p’-Bisphenols.
