Partner Janine Carlan will speak at the 2025 Women’s IP Forum in Ashburn, Virginia on September 16, 2025.
Janine will serve as a featured panelist in the session “Patent Damages: Understanding What is Really at Stake,” as part of IPWatchdog’s second annual Women’s IP Forum. Panelists will explore recent case law, emerging trends in reasonable royalty and lost profits analyses, the critical role of expert testimony, and the impact of factors such as apportionment, willfulness, and injunctions on damages determinations.
The Women’s IP Forum, taking place September 15–17, 2025, convenes thought leaders from across the patent bar to foster community, mentorship, and substantive dialogue on issues unique to women practitioners in intellectual property. All speakers at the Women’s IP Forum are women, representing a broad spectrum of experience and expertise. Recognizing that opportunity is essential to achieving success, the program intentionally features both younger rising stars and seasoned “Masters Level” women at the highest levels of the industry.
