AFS Music Industry Team Advises on International Sale of Online Music Education Businesses
ArentFox Schiff represented international music publisher Wise Music Group in the sale of its Digital Education division to private equity firm Achieve Partners.
The cross-borders transaction involved the sale of online music education platform and software services businesses based in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, including MusicFirst, Charanga, and Rising Software. The deal closed in December 2024.
Led by Matt Finkelstein, the AFS team included Amal Dave, Mike Ragan, Cody Boender, Samantha Overly Patel, Jeffrey Tate, Michelle Bowling, Emily Lewis, Jonathan Bagg, Annie Mose, and Brian Friederich.
