ArentFox Schiff Welcomes Partner Lauren Wolven to its Growing Private Clients, Trusts & Estates Group in Chicago
ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce the addition of partner Lauren Wolven to its growing Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice in the firm’s Chicago office. Lauren brings over two and a half decades of experience in estate, tax, and succession planning. Her clients include high-net-worth individuals, corporate fiduciaries, and middle market business owners.
Amid a period of strong growth for the PCTE practice, Lauren’s addition marks the fourth new team member to join this year, following the recent additions of partner Todd Angkatavanich, partner Molly James, and counsel Joe Blumberg.
In addition to estate planning, Lauren counsels privately held businesses on tax and succession planning and regularly guides clients through trust and estate administration and litigation. She also frequently advises charitable organizations and foundations on administrative, tax, and planning matters.
“Given her deep knowledge and experience, Lauren’s addition is a significant step in the continued growth of our Private Clients, Trusts & Estates practice,” said Christine R.W. Quigley, PCTE Practice Group Leader. “Her impressive practice complements our team’s capabilities as we continue to provide the highest caliber of service to our high-net-worth and private clients around the country.”
Lauren joins the firm from Levenfeld Pearlstein, where she was a partner in the Trusts & Estates group. She also served as a member of the firm’s Executive Committee and as chair of its Professional Development Committee.
A distinguished thought leader in her field, Lauren is the co-author of two BNA Tax Management Portfolios on estate planning and administration topics and is a frequent speaker at the Heckerling Institute on Estate Planning.
Additionally, Lauren is involved in many professional organizations, including as a Fellow, Regent, and Illinois State Chair of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). She is a past president and director of the Chicago Estate Planning Council, a former board member of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education, and previously served on the Executive Committee of the Chicago Bar Association Trust Law Committee. Additionally, she serves on the Board of Directors of Anti-Cruelty, Chicago’s oldest and largest animal welfare organization.
