Carvalho Again Named Among ‘Most Powerful Women in Washington’
ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce that Partner and Executive Committee member Cristina Carvalho has been named to Washingtonian’s 2025 list of the “Most Powerful Women in Washington.”
The biennial ranking recognizes 150 of the DC-area’s most influential women in business, law, government, education, media, nonprofits, and the arts, who “define the agenda and determine the course of action in their enterprises.” Cristina was previously named to the list in 2017, 2019, 2021, and 2023.
Cristina served as Firmwide Managing Partner from 2016-2023. She is one of the few Latinas who has helmed one of the nation’s 100 largest firms. She oversees a practice that encompasses global brand portfolio management, intellectual property and technology licensing, and commercial transactions for leading US and foreign companies. Cristina has been previously recognized by Best Lawyers, The Legal 500 US, Managing IP’s IP Stars, and World Trademark Review’s Top 1000, the definitive guide for IP practitioners.
