Two Attorneys Named Top Litigators by Crain’s Chicago Business

ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce that Partners Imron Aly and Maggie Hickey have been listed among Crain’s Chicago Business’ 2025 Notable Litigators.

Imron is a trial lawyer with a focus on patent infringement litigation who has served as lead counsel for clients on dozens of matters and has first-chaired more than 15 trials. Clients and leading industry publications describe Imron as a prepared courtroom advocate whose “tenacity sets him apart,” who “stands out for his pure advocacy skills,” and “is an untiring advocate for his clients’ cause.” He is on the advisory board with the Center for Biosimilars and recently held a multi-term board role on the Chicago Committee for Minorities in Large Law Firms. Imron has also been recognized by IAM Patent 1000: The World’s Leading Patent Professionals for Patent Litigation, Best Lawyers, and as a LMG Life Sciences Star.

Maggie co-leads the firm’s Government Enforcement & White Collar group. With a long and notable career in government, Maggie focuses her practice on internal investigations, compliance programs, sexual harassment issues in the workplace, and ethics training. She is regularly selected to handle high-profile, sensitive investigations. Her high-profile matters have garnered many industry accolades, including a Law360 MVP for White Collar in 2019, one of only five lawyers recognized on the national list. Clients have described her as “an extraordinarily talented lawyer,” who “gets to the heart of legal issues very quickly.”

Crain’s Chicago Business’ Notable Litigators list recognizes nominated litigators with at least 10 years of experience and who hold a leadership position within their firm.
