ArentFox Schiff Welcomes Complex Litigation Partner Andrew S. Wong
ArentFox Schiff is pleased to announce the addition of Partner Andrew S. Wong to its Complex Litigation practice in the firm’s Los Angeles office. Andrew has more than two decades of experience handling complex litigation cases ranging from commercial to employment matters, with a significant presence in Asia. His addition strengthens the firm’s ability to manage litigation in multiple jurisdictions.
Andrew represents both domestic and international companies in cross-border litigation and arbitration covering a diverse array of issues, including product liability, business torts, trade secrets and unfair trade practices. His clients span industries such as finance, technology, oil and gas, food and beverage, manufacturing, and transportation, among others.
“We are delighted to welcome Andrew to ArentFox Schiff,” said Linda M. Jackson, co-leader of the Complex Litigation Practice Group. “His years of experience and breadth of work will significantly expand our Los Angeles litigation capabilities, as well as our cross-border bench.”
“Andrew’s deep knowledge and skill will enhance our already robust litigation team,” said David C. Blickenstaff, co-leader of the Complex Litigation Practice Group. “His experience representing overseas businesses and families will allow us to provide more comprehensive service to our international clients.”
In addition to his US practice, Andrew has deep knowledge of business issues in Hong Kong, the PRC, Korea, and in Southeast Asia, where he counsels clients on distribution, compliance and other business strategy issues and provides litigation risk analysis for manufacturers, suppliers, family offices and others. He also has significant experience counseling American clients involved in litigation in Asia.
Andrew joins the firm from Reed Smith LLP, where he was a Global Commercial Disputes Group partner in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He maintains a strong presence in the Southern California community, serving on the Board of Trustees of the University of La Verne and as a former board member of the Pomona Unified School District.
