ArentFox Schiff Welcomes Private Clients, Trusts & Estates Partner Todd Angkatavanich

Todd counsels families and family offices – both domestic and international – on a range of wealth transfer planning structures, such as Family Limited Partnerships, Transfers to Dynasty Trusts, Carried Interest Transfer Planning, Preferred Partnership Planning, and Business Governance and Succession Planning, among others. 

He focuses his practice on creating and implementing wealth planning and investment structures to ensure an efficient transfer of family assets and provide effective stewardship for future generations.

In addition, Todd regularly works on cutting edge transfer tax planning strategies and is well versed in identifying and navigating issues related to complex transactions, particularly with respect to those under Chapter 14 of the Internal Revenue Code.

Todd joins the firm from McDermott Will & Emery LLP, where he was a partner in the Private Client Group. Previously, he served as a Principal in Ernst & Young LLP’s National Tax Department in the Private Client Services practice. Todd is a member of numerous professional organizations, including the American College of Trust & Estate Counsel, the Society of Trusts & Estates Practitioners, and the Trusts & Estates magazine Editorial Advisory Board.
